White Soft Paraffin BP
White Soft Paraffin BP (British Pharmacopoeia) is a purified mixture of
semi-solid hydrocarbons derived from petroleum. It is odorless, tasteless, and
white in color with a smooth, greasy texture. It is widely used in
pharmaceutical formulations as an emollient, moisturizer, and occlusive agent.
Commonly found in ointments, creams, and other topical applications, it helps
to soften the skin, protect it from moisture loss, and deliver active
ingredients effectively.
