Hydrophilic (Down) Nonwoven for Diaper
Hydrophilic (down) nonwoven for diapers is a specially engineered fabric
designed to promote rapid fluid acquisition and transfer into the absorbent
core, enhancing dryness and comfort for the user. Positioned just below the
topsheet in the diaper structure, this layer plays a crucial role in wicking
moisture away from the skin and distributing it evenly to the absorbent core
(typically made of fluff pulp and superabsorbent polymer). The hydrophilic
treatment applied to the nonwoven fibers ensures that urine is quickly
absorbed, minimizing the risk of leakage and reducing rewet, which helps
prevent diaper rash and skin irritation. Soft, breathable, and skin-friendly,
this nonwoven is essential for the performance of modern baby and adult
diapers.
